Torzon access guide

This page outlines a minimal, opinionated path from a clean desktop to your first Torzon onion page: Tor Browser install, bridges, mirror selection and PGP checks.

Assumption
Fresh desktop OS
No personal accounts, no real-name browser profiles.
Goal
Torzon landing only
No in-depth market usage covered here.
Step 1

Install Tor Browser

Download Tor Browser directly from the official site over HTTPS. Verify the URL and certificate before downloading, then install using default settings for your OS.

Step 2

Connect & set bridges

On first launch, try a direct Tor connection. If your ISP or country blocks Tor, switch to "Tor is censored" and add bridges obtained from Tor’s bridge distribution channels.

Settings → Connection → Bridges → Request a bridge
Step 3

Prepare torzon onion string

Take a torzon onion hostname from your offline list (for example from the mirrors layout page), double-check every character, and keep it ready for manual entry.

Step 4

Verify via PGP before login

Before entering any credentials, locate Torzon’s PGP key and mirrors list and check that your chosen onion hostname appears in a signed file with the expected fingerprint.

Step 5

First torzon page

Once the onion is verified, type it into Tor Browser’s address bar and wait for the first load. If the page design or language looks off, reset your Tor circuit and verify the hostname again.

Important

Never reuse your main device

Keep Torzon activity away from your daily driver accounts, browsers and cloud logins. A dedicated user profile, VM or even separate hardware is strongly recommended.
